The following legislation was passed into law during the 2009-2010 session.

Extend the Abortion Reflection Period (H3245).
Increases waiting period from 1 hour to 24 hours.

Makes sex with a student by a school employee a separate crime.

Electronic Securing and Targeting of Online Predator Act [ESTOP] (S973).
Requires social networking websites like Facebook to drop accounts of sex offenders.

Ratify Age of Consent Amendment (S144).
Ratifies the law passed by the voters in 2008 to clarify the age to legally consent to sex at 16.

Prevent Religious Discrimination in School (S134).
Student rights to religious expression in the course of their schoolwork should be clear.

Foster Care Reform (S1172).
Strengthen state law in cases of severe abuse and neglect.

Responsible Fatherhood Registry (H3311).
Makes adopting children easier.
