It’s a Wonderful Life

Take a walk down memory lane with Palmetto Family and remember the heartwarming story of George Bailey in the classic 1946 Christmas film, “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

In the film, George Bailey (played by Jimmy Stewart) is visited by an Angel-in-Training, Clarence, and given the gift of seeing how the town of Bedford Falls would have fared without him. And, in one of the most gripping scenes of the movie, we see how the once family-friendly town is transformed without Bailey into Pottersville, “a nightmarish vision in which the town is sunk in sex and sin.”

For Palmetto Family, “the world without us” isn’t hard to imagine. We count at least 24 Ways in the past five years that Palmetto Family has worked to Make South Carolina Great.
